Pumice bars!! You bring the grime, we bring the grit!! If you're like us, sometimes we just need a bit more toughness from our soap. Whether you just rolled around in the mud with the hogs, have rough and callused feet from roaming barefoot in the garden all day (GUILTY!!!) or just have an itch you can't manage to scratch, our pumice bars might suit you well.
Now of course maybe you don't want all that grit some days, if so, simply lather your soap on a loofa, a bath poof, or whatever cleaning apparatus you have on hand, and wash yourself as usual.
While we love everyone to try our pumice bars, these aren't suited well for those with weak skin, mainly babies, small children and elderly. Don't worry though, we have some other pretty awesome soap for them as well.

All of my soaps here at Rickety Bridge Soap Emporium are made in small batches of 10-20 bars at a time. As with any handmade item, each bar will have its own unique individual characteristics, making no two bars identical. I have created each recipe from scratch, picking the perfect combinations of oils to make a well-balanced bar. Whenever possible, I source my fats locally, allowing us to reduce our carbon footprint. I render down these fats myself to use in my various soap recipes. This saves these fats from being sent to a landfill.

Each bar, unless otherwise stated, is adorned with a recyclable band, listing it's individual ingredients. I use minimal packaging whenever I can, to help reduce the amount of waste that goes into shipping. Reusable and recyclable shredded paper is used in my packages, and occasionally I use biodegradable packing peanuts.
