Organic Comfrey infused Whipped Tallow Butter
To start off this beautiful product, I traveled to a local farm to purchase some beef suet to render at home. After bringing it home, it is rendered down into a beautiful, buttery scented, rich tallow. I take a portion of this wonderfully moisturizing tallow and place it in a double boiler, along with organic comfrey leaves, on top of my toasty wood stove to infuse. After it has infused and been strained, I then blend it with olive oil infused with comfrey to produce this light, fluffy, skin loving whipped butter.

All of my tallow products here at Rickety Bridge Soap Emporium are made in small batches. I have created each recipe from scratch, picking the perfect combinations of oils to make a well-balanced product. I source my fats locally, allowing us to reduce our carbon footprint. I render down these fats myself to use in my various recipes. This saves these fats from being sent to a landfill.
A few things about my whipped tallow butters:

*Scented with essential oils or left unscented
*No animal testing, unless you count me and my family
*Due to the nature of tallow, you may occasionally experience a grainy feeling. This is extremely normal
*If your butter is stored in extreme temperature areas, you will likely notice a change in the consistency of your tallow butter
*Since no preservatives are used in my tallow butter, make sure no water gets into your container
*While this particular balm is completely natural, with non toxic ingredients, it is not intended for internal use or ingestion
*Some jars may end up slightly over filled, so there will be tallow butter on the lid inside the jar
*I package all of my products with the ecosystem in mind and use minimal packaging. These butters are placed into a brand new, clean mason jar and the are lidded. There is no inner seal, nor do I use a plastic outer seal. Just the jar and label.

Whipped tallow comes in a 4 floz mason jar with label, listing it's individual ingredients. I use minimal packaging whenever I can, to help reduce the amount of waste that goes into shipping. Reusable and recyclable shredded paper is used in my packages, and occasionally I use biodegradable packing peanuts. Glass jar can be washed and reused.
