RICKETY BRIDGE SOAP EMPORIUM SMALL BATCH ARTISAN SOAPS:

All of my soaps here at Rickety Bridge Soap Emporium are made in small batches of 10-20 bars at a time. As with any handmade item, each bar will have its own unique individual characteristics, making no two bars identical. I have created each recipe from scratch, picking the perfect combinations of oils to make a well-balanced bar. Whenever possible, I source my fats locally, allowing us to reduce our carbon footprint. I render down these fats myself to use in my various soap recipes. This saves these fats from being sent to a landfill.

Ready to try out an alternative dish soap?
To use: Rub a wet dish cloth or brush over the top of your bar and allow a lather to form. Once you have enough for your cloth or brush, wash your dishes as you normally would. then rinse! It's just that simple. Make sure to leave your bar in a well drained dry area between uses to extend the life of the bar.
Solid dish bars aren't just great for washing dishes.....
This bar can also be grated and used in a homemade laundry soap recipe or used as a stain stick (test on small area first)
Great for scrubbing floors, cleaning appliances like your microwave and stove

Each bar, unless otherwise stated, is adorned with an unbleached coffee filter and label, listing it's individual ingredients. I use minimal packaging whenever I can, to help reduce the amount of waste that goes into shipping. Reusable and recyclable shredded paper is used in my packages, and occasionally I use biodegradable packing peanuts.

All soaps are cured for a minimum of 4-6 weeks.

Due to the nature of this recipe, which makes for a very hard bar, these bars may appear a bit "rustic" in nature. This may include cracks, chips, or divots, which is cosmetic only. This is primarily because I do not use individual molds for individual bars, which typically eliminates breakage in harder soap recipes. Each bar weighs closer to 6oz, but I list them lower, due to some of these imperfections. This particular recipe also shows more soda ash, again completely normal and only cosmetic. Once you start using it, the ash will likely go away. It in no way changes the performance of this spectacular bar.
